These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of What Changed? (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The service

What Changed? lets you monitor publicly accessible web pages and receive alerts when their content changes. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Subscriptions and billing

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe.
  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated.
  • You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We may change pricing on notice; changes apply to the next renewal.

4. Acceptable use

Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the URLs and configuration you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to fetch, store, process, and display the corresponding page content solely to operate the Service for you. You represent that you have the right to monitor the URLs you submit.

6. Third-party content

The Service retrieves content from third-party websites. We do not own or control that content and are not responsible for it. Monitoring a site does not grant you any rights to the underlying content.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by us and our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if your use creates risk or legal exposure. You may stop using the Service at any time.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that change detection will be complete, timely, or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, or data. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we are established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
